How do I convince my parents to let me use Facebook?

just say that facebook is a good social site for keeping in touch with friends and family, you could always ask your parents to join and you can add them into your list that way they wont need to worry about you having a facebook...





i mean the privacy settings are quite good on facebook and you dont have to accept anyone you dont know just keep friends on your list and people who you know that way your parents would not need to worry, just tell them that facebook outweighs any diadvanatges and that its ok just has long as you obey to its terms and conditions and you can always block people too that way they can never find you on a facebook search or communicate with you...

Tell your parents that Facebook has some really detailed privacy controls, and is a much safer place to be on that other sites - like Orkut or something!

Tell them to get one too and add them as your friends so they can see what you're doing and who you're friends with.
Tell them its an online community and lots of your friends have one and its safe and u won't put pictures of ur self on there :) hope this helped
