You do things like.
Clean your room and KEEP it clean.
Sweep the floor.
Do your homework on time.
Get good grades.
Don't fight with your brothers and sisters.
Don't talk back to adults.
Eat what your parents give you and don''t make any faces about it.
Remember to share.
Do research on taking care of a dog and what breed of dog you want.
Ask them nicely and don't whine or beg when you talk about getting a new pet.How can i convince my parents to let me get another dog?

Depends on a lot of things, if you have the room, the time and the money for another dog.
I would sit them down and explain the reasons why you want another one in the house and have a discussion about it.
If its their home and they say no, then leave it for now.
can you afford another dog it also depends on what breed of dog you already have and what sex if it is male get a female but if you do get another one make sure you walk it and clean up any accidents it may have
Get a job and start taking care of the dog you already have.
Show them that you responsible. Trust me it will work
