How do you introduce a deceased parent during the wedding reception? or is it necessary to introduce?

i have this friend whose father died about 4 years ago. she's getting married now. the parents will be introduce during the reception. i wonder how to tackle this issue. is it necessary to introduce? if yes, how?How do you introduce a deceased parent during the wedding reception? or is it necessary to introduce?
You don't introduce a dead person. She can pay tribute by reading a bible passage, reading a poem, or just saying a few heartfelt words. That would be nice. But it would be a tribute ';in memory of';, not an introduction.How do you introduce a deceased parent during the wedding reception? or is it necessary to introduce?
I am not sure I have this right but here goes. I think you are saying that you are introducing the wedding party.

In this case you only introduce the mother. Example the mother of the bride. Or the mother of the bride and her escort.

That what the emcee did at my wedding.

Good luck
Not necessary to introduce the father. Just introduce the mother.
they could acknowledge the deceased by saying a few words and then lighting a candle to represent his everlasting relationship with his daughter, but it isn't necessary.
Depends on what your friend wants,

I guess. If she does, she could be introduced as the daughter of ';Mrs._____and the late Mr.______';. Just an idea.

On a side note, I have had several friends just write it in their programs. That way everyone reads it and it's not as uncomfortable as announcing it.
She could be announced as ';Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. _____'; and maybe have a nice floral arrangement with a note in the handout that says ';The floral arrangment at the wedding table is in loving memory of the bride's father ____';
