not pay attention to them,let them know that you don't love them,abuse them(physically or psuchologically),have no interest in what they do,give them freedom in early ages..What is the worst thing parents can do to there children?
I think that there isn't one worst thing but if I had to choose it would be to not pay attention to them. To treat them as objects and belittle them creating a lack of self esteem. To not be involved in their lives and ignore them. Lack of discipline is a form of child abuse. If you don't lovingly correct inappropriate behavior then you don't love your kids on the other hand if you correct it harshly then you are creating a problem as well. To not let them make small decisions on their own and to be overly protective or controlling will create a life long problem.
Yell at them daily or refuse to talk to them for days, take out every frustration they have on the child because of work or money or whatever, call them names, criticize their every mistake as if it were the worst thing that could happen in the world, make fun of them in front of relatives and friends. Remind them that they are just like Aunt or Uncle so and so who the child knows the parent can't stand. These things create scars that last a lifetime.
The best thing you can do for your children is to love them and always tell them that they can be or do anything that they want.

betray their trust. By either not keeping a confidence, or by physically abusing them, or even at times, not keeping a promise for no good reason.





Once a parent breaks that trust, it will remain very hard for that child to become an adult that has trust in his spouse or friends, or even colleagues at work.

Degrade and insult and abuse them, criticize, ( abuse kills the soul.) Blaming them for everything (even things that they clearly could not have caused) Not even trying to know them, ignoring their needs, cruelty, manipulation, guilt tripping, be rigid, judgmental, prejudiced, crazy unfounded punishments, weird and overly rigid rules and regulations....I think that's pretty much my mother in brief!!! Make them feel unworthy and tell them you wish They'd never been born.....compare them unfavorably to everyone else..... I think that's a good start for you.
Worst thing - ignoring them and not letting them know that they are loved. These are the ones who grow up to do the same to their children.

Read the book ';a child called it'; and you get all your answers from there its such a sad book and parts of it made me want to kill the mother

the worst things parents can do to their children is to spank them and ground them for 2 years. That's all I can think of because not even my parents do that to me they just yell.:)
