Like what you had to do to make ur strict parents let u go goth as long as it doesn't have to do with suicide because that is so stupid.How do I convince my parents to let me go goth and Dye my hair black?
You're not going to convince your parents to let you do that as long as they are totally opposed to that whole lifestyle.
However, if you wish to try then here is what you have to do;
The only way possible to have them even consider your way is to speak to them rationally about goth over time. You are going to have to attempt to educate them about it. You will have to get on their level with it though. This will take time, DO NOT try to educate them overnight. It take time and finesse.
If you want a quick fix - just tell them that Goth is not a way of life for you. Tell them that you just like the look and the fashion of it. Tell them that the kids at your school dont ';do'; goth they just dress that way. DO NOT use phrases like ';express myself'; if your going to go this route.
Finally, you could just do it and suffer the consequences later. That's depending on what you think the conseqences might be. If its something as simple as being grounded then just do it. You'll be grounded for a week and when its over your hair will still be black and they will be able to see that a different hair color didnt change who you are.

the hell with them do it anyway even if they ground you there is little they can do like if they say your grounded just go out anyway you are a person and if your parents cant respect your choices then dont respect thiers. there words cant physically keep you from doing anything.

if you are doing it for you, then just explain to them that you could be doing soo many worse things then dyeing your hair! if they don't understand try a diffrent color

Write an essay about the history of ';goth';-it works. Then ask again. If that doesn't work, then write an essay on hair dying products. The upside/downside, you know. Seriously-parents love this. Research well so you know and (ThEy know you know) what you're doing. Don't forget to cite those resources!
R u going goth because of that's the style or bc you really want to be if it is the former just tell your parents that and they'll most likely let you dye your hair. If that doesn't work keep bringing the subject up until they get sick of it and cave it. This worked when I wanted to get my nose pierced.
ask them if you can get a tatoo instead. They might prefer hair color
tell them that this is what makes you happy and you like it. tell them they are your parents and they should understand.
Tell them that it's important for you and that they can come with you to the hair salon (if that the price to pay..) and let them see that you're not doing anything wrong.
tell them its just an appearance and that isnt going to change the person that you are.
im sorry, but I agree with ur parents.
honey, they are just trying to protect u. a LOT of goth things have violent things incoperated in to them, and it could get u kicked out of skewl. honey, don't become a goth, whatever u do, don't become a goth.
